Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial flooring projects from pre-construction to completion. You will coordinate customers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to deliver on time and on spec.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of flooring products and installation methods, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and safety on busy job sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial flooring project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation methods.
• Experience coordinating general contractors, owners, architects, vendors and teams.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans and specs.
• Solid scheduling, budgeting, purchasing and cost-control skills.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management software.

My client is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to oversee commercial flooring projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of commercial flooring systems, excellent project-management skills, and a proven ability to coordinate customers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews.

This is a hands-on role for a motivated professional who can manage multiple projects, maintain schedules and budgets, resolve issues quickly, and ensure every project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial flooring projects from estimating handoff through final completion.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, installers, subcontractors, and job-site activities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation methods, including carpet tile, broadloom, VCT, LVT, sheet vinyl, rubber, polished/concrete flooring, or related systems.
• Experience working with general contractors and commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management software.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to commercial job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale commercial flooring projects.
• Estimating or takeoff experience.
• Experience with construction management software.
• Established relationships with general contractors, flooring installers, and suppliers.
• OSHA or other construction-safety training.
