Job summary

A&M Home Services in Plymouth, IN is seeking a Commercial Estimator to join our Commercial Sales division. You will identify bidding opportunities, perform take-offs from plans and site visits, and prepare cost estimates and proposals.

The role requires 3–5+ years in construction estimating, proficiency with The Edge, and strong communication and organizational skills. Join a team focused on accurate bids, competitive pricing, and growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in construction estimating and project management.
• Experience performing take-offs with The Edge or similar software.
• Strong Word and Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new commercial bidding opportunities (public and private).
• Perform accurate material and labor take-offs from plans and site visits.
• Use estimating software to generate pricing for various scopes of work.
• Send bid packages to subcontractors and suppliers and evaluate responses.
• Develop cost-to-produce budgets and prepare proposals for management review.
• Prepare final project handoff packages including budgets.
• Collaborate with sales, production and accounting teams.
• Primary estimating focus includes sloped roofing, flat roofing, and siding projects.
