Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a full-time Project Estimator with 5 years of commercial construction experience. You will work directly with the Owner, Design Team, and Project Management to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

The role emphasizes analyzing drawings and specifications, developing procurement strategies, and preparing budgets. Proficiency with Destiny Estimating Software and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years commercial construction experience as a Project Estimator preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Destiny Estimating Software preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other construction documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
• Compute estimate costs for materials purchased and/or leased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and labor.
• Prepare budget estimates and schedules.
• Perform Value Management.
• Develop procurement strategies.
• Solicit Trade Partner proposals.
• Prepare and execute subcontracts.
