Job summary

CGL Facility Maintenance, LLC is seeking an Electrician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems for a commercial client. The role involves repairing, installing, and testing circuits, wiring, and control panels in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of construction or maintenance experience in commercial settings, a state electrician license, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years construction or maintenance experience in commercial environments required.
• State Licensed Electrician required.
• Driver's license valid and in state required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances, including high voltage and AC/DC circuits.
• Inspects, tests, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits.
• Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments.
• Repairs and replaces faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems, including fabrication of electrical control panels.
• Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts.
• Maintains emergency generators and high voltage switch gear.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Inspects completed work for conformance with local codes and safety requirements.
• Trains other technicians and provides mentorship and direction.
