Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting LLC is seeking a Drywall Estimator for our Northeast Fort Worth-based team. This 100% estimating role focuses on producing accurate bids for large-scale commercial projects across the DFW metroplex.

You will analyze drawings, prepare detailed takeoffs, and craft competitive packages that reflect local market dynamics and subcontractor pricing. This is an in-office, full-time position with no travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience estimating commercial drywall projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth market.
• Strong knowledge of local subcontractor pricing and bid environments.
• Proficiency with Buzz Bid or similar platforms (OST, Quick Bid).

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, plans, and specs to determine scope and materials.
• Prepare accurate takeoffs using estimating software and templates.
• Develop and submit competitive bid packages under deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align bids with production capabilities.
• Maintain organized estimating docs and cost history.
• Manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment.
