Vortex Doors in Centennial, CO is seeking an Experienced Commercial Door Technician with 4+ years in the door industry to install, repair, and maintain commercial doors, docks, and related hardware. You will work in the field, solving technical issues and ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the commercial door service industry.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of commercial doors, docks, and related hardware using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Diagnose and conduct routine repair door-related issues, such as broken springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components; welding training is available.
• Install and configure door hardware, such as locks, handles, closers, low-voltage, and access control systems.
• Ensure installed doors meet safety and building code regulations and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and explaining repair processes.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and installations; provide reports as required.
• Diagnose, identify, and resolve technical issues with doors; communicate with customers on cost-effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks on installations and repairs to meet quality standards.
