Job summary

DuraServ is seeking an Experienced Commercial Door & Dock Technician to install, service, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment across sites in Cincinnati. You’ll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, read wiring diagrams, weld as needed, and own the job from start to finish with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Valid, current state-issued driver's license — field travel to customer sites is daily.
• Ability to meet physical demands: regular fieldwork outdoors, frequent ladder use, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with welding, mechanical systems, hydraulics, or electrical work.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial dock and door systems — including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, dock levelers, dock seals and shelters.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across equipment types.
• Read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Document service activity with precision and provide future maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain a safe, clean job site and communicate clearly with customers.
