Job summary

Frost seeks a Central Credit Underwriter II in Texas. You will approve or decline consumer credit requests with underwriting authority up to $1,000,000 and commercial requests with underwriting authority up to $1,000,000, while building relationships and delivering top-quality service with integrity and excellence.

As part of Frost’s 150-year legacy, you’ll mentor bankers, train Underwriter I’s, and serve as a department liaison, helping the team navigate fast-paced lending environments with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of lending experience, preferably underwriting.
• Proven track record in underwriting with solid cash-flow analysis.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and leverage ratios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Approve/decline or recommend financing within loan authority.
• Mentor, train and coach bankers.
• Assist in training and mentoring Underwriter I’s.
• Act as the department liaison.
• Always act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve optimal outcomes.
