Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills required.
• Knowledge of SAP and Get Paid is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, numeracy and research skills.
• Solid customer service, negotiation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily collection calls and periodic customer visits to resolve account receivable balances; contact by phone, email, or portals.
• Build internal and external customer relationships professionally.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve billing issues within assigned portfolio promptly.
• Review and approve Commercial job sheets; protect lien rights on jobs over $25K.
• Maintain rollover phone system while handling incoming calls.
• Resolve complex credit problems and escalate as needed for sensitive accounts.
• Communicate with Sales, Billing, Branches and other departments on past-due accounts.
• Review order holds and advise on hold/release per guidelines.
• Provide monthly updates to supervisor on portfolio risk and performance.
• Collaborate with remote teams including Sales, Billing and Branch personnel.
