Job summary

Lennox International in Richardson, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Accounting Analyst II to join our Cash Accounting team in a dynamic shared services environment. You will handle cash accounting activities including reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close while supporting process improvements and internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 1-2 years of experience, and proficiency with MS Office; SAP ERP and Hyperion ESSBASE are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• CPA preferred
• 1-2 years of experience
• Hands-on experience in financial accounting & reporting, preferably Cash Accounting
• MS suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• SAP ERP experience highly desired
• Working knowledge of manufacturing, a plus
• Hyperion ESSBASE, a plus
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong accounting knowledge, fact-finding skills, and ability to provide solutions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate good judgment, attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
• Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines through good organization and prioritization
• Ability to work closely with personnel from various departments and all levels of management
• Strong critical reasoning skills, independent judgment, and objectivity

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Treasury, and business partners to resolve cash balance discrepancies.
• Review account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately stated.
• Perform balance verifications as part of the month-end close process.
• Support the onboarding and transition of accounting functions from various Business Units to Financial Shared Services.
• Support internal and external audit.
