Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in finance, accounting or economics.
• Minimum of 5 years credit analysis experience.
• Extensive knowledge of financial statements.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time and resources effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze credit information from all available sources (in-house, other institutions, agencies).
• Analyze financial statements and related materials, including use of spreading software.
• Attend customer calls with Relationship Managers and document them as requested.
• Develop and prepare credit presentations for loan committees and board committees.
• Monitor maintenance and updating of credit files and annual reviews.
• Assist in developing new procedures to enhance automation and efficiency.
• May supervise Credit Analyst I and train other analysts.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate workflow and communicate with customers as needed.
• Complete assigned compliance training and apply it to duties and supervision.
