Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics required.
• 5 years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience preferred.
• Must be attentive to detail and possess excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; intermediate Excel and Word skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide loan decisions and/or credit recommendations based on underwriting criteria within assigned loan authority.
• May recommend loan terms and structures that exceed authority.
• Review financial statements and assess project cash flow and debt service obligations from loan applications.
• Provide due diligence conditions and interpret relevance of due diligence items for loan approval.
• Evaluate commercial loan requests using knowledge of credit policy and procedures.
• Maintain understanding of credit scoring and risk management concepts.
• Communicate decisions to Relationship Managers and other departments.
