Job summary

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Commercial Attorney (Technology Transactions) for our client, a financial services organization, on a short-term contract to support an in-house legal team and oversee review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial agreements.

You will partner with sales, procurement, and finance to move deals forward, while addressing data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related risks.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. bar licensed to practice law.
• 3+ years of legal experience.
• Prior in-house experience strongly preferred.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting technology, professional services, SaaS, or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate: Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
• Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Vendor Agreements
• Professional Services Agreements
• Partnership and Alliance Agreements
• Partner with sales, procurement, finance, and business teams to support commercial transactions.
• Identify and address contractual risks related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related matters.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to help move deals forward.
• Support contract negotiations from initial review through execution.
