Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced contract manager to drive negotiations and manage technology agreements, including execution and post‑execution management related to semiconductor process technology, EDA, and design IP.

The successful candidate will partner with GF’s business and technical teams to align objectives for the agreement and work with IP/technology law attorneys on terms and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of GF's foundry business and ecosystem partners (tool vendors, IP suppliers, customers).
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology agreements (in-licenses, out-licenses, development agreements).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Engineering or physical science background; a J.D. is not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive negotiations and the contracting process for key Technology Agreements with GF customers, government agencies, universities, consortia and suppliers.
• Define the primary objectives of the contracts, including NRE payments, license terms, and deliverables.
• Manage ongoing contract administration and business management for multi-year agreements.
• Support special projects as needed.
• Create formal networks with key decision makers and serve as external spokesperson for the organization.
• Partner with senior executives (CEO/COO) to influence business decisions.
