Job summary

RWE Design Build is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead our commercial construction projects across the Chicagoland area, with on-site oversight from our Downers Grove office. The role requires coordinating schedules, ensuring quality, and collaborating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

Procore experience and OSHA 30 are preferred, along with strong MS Office skills and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• 5+ years U.S. commercial ground-up experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Experience with Procore.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction schedules and monitor progress with onsite checks.
• Ensure quality standards across projects.
• Coordinate meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure materials arrive per schedule.
• Resolve conflicts with owners, architects, and subs.
• Maintain daily logs and weekly reports.
• Prepare and submit required paperwork.
• Attend job meetings and coordinate punch lists/closeouts.
• Schedule and conduct inspections.
• Maintain safety compliance on-site.
