Job summary

Graham Construction seeks a Project Manager II in Des Moines, IA to lead commercial construction projects, managing client relations and delivering on time and within budget. You will guide project teams, develop budgets and proposals, and oversee contracts with trade partners while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5 years in construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact with owners/clients, architects, and trade partners.
• Lead project teams and delegate roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and manage budgets, estimates, and proposals.
• Participate in supplier selection; draft and administer agreements.
• Ensure profitability of assigned projects.
• Maintain project plans, change orders, permits, and schedules.
• Prepare monthly project reports.
• Manage communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, and Graham staff.
• Uphold safety policies and compliance with laws and codes.
• Coordinate punch list inspections and project closeout.
• Develop industry relationships to drive business.
