Job summary

Benning Construction is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to provide direction for commercial projects, interfacing with Owners, Architects and Engineers while scoping, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring costs and progress.

The ideal candidate will develop strong project teams, ensure safety, and maintain meticulous documentation across assignments, with travel throughout the SE region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in the commercial construction industry.
• Experience with schedule development for multi-million dollar projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules for $5M-$10M+ commercial builds.
• Interface with Owners, Architects, Engineers; manage client relationship.
• Monitor cost and progress; oversee safety program.
• Review requisitions and change orders; maintain logs.
• Lead and mentor project team including superintendents and subs.
• Travel for site visits across the SE region.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
