Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, CE, Arch, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction management.
• Experience delivering ground-up and interior fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of commercial construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budgets, and aggressive schedules.
• Spearhead procurement activities including subcontracts, material procurement, equipment rentals, and supplier negotiations.
• Travel to Laredo, TX monthly to monitor sites and manage local subcontractors.
• Vet, hire, and manage trade partners and vendors; conduct regular performance reviews and enforce quality control.
• Manage project budgets, approve invoices, oversee change orders, and provide financial reporting to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols across sites.
• Lead progress meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and authorities; maintain transparent communication.
• Implement rigorous quality assurance and safety programs to achieve zero-incident sites.

Job descriptionSenior Commercial Construction ManagerLocation: Miami, FL (with mandatory monthly travel to Laredo, TX for project oversight)Position Type: Full-Time, Hands-OnAbout the RoleARIVA Group is seeking an experienced, proactive Senior Commercial Construction Manager to lead our project operations out of the Miami office. This is a dynamic, hands-on role requiring a leader who is equally comfortable managing high-level strategy and diving into the day-to-day execution of commercial builds.
