Job summary

ARIVA Construction in Laredo, TX is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal teams to keep schedules and budgets on track.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, strong scheduling and budgeting skills, and the ability to read plans and manage multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multiple project stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and contracts.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Review construction plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential budget issues.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project teams.
• Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Coordinate materials, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
