in Streamwood, IL is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial concrete projects from preconstruction through completion, coordinating with general contractors, owners, field personnel, and vendors. The ideal candidate will manage schedules, costs, documentation, and project performance, reading blueprints, using Bluebeam and PlanGrid, and ensuring on-time delivery in a fast-paced Chicagoland environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil blueprints.
• Experience using Bluebeam for drawing review, markups, measurements, and project documentation.
• Experience using PlanGrid to manage drawings and project information.
• Experience preparing RFCs, submittals, change orders, schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites in Chicagoland.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and industrial concrete projects from award through closeout.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Use Bluebeam to review, mark up, measure, and manage drawings.
• Use PlanGrid to access drawings, document field conditions, and track project information.
• Coordinate startup, scheduling, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Maintain communication with general contractors, superintendents, foremen, vendors, and staff.
• Prepare, review, submit, and track RFCs, submittals, change orders, and other docs.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor deadlines.
• Track costs, labor, materials, quantities, and profitability.
• Support project billing, cost projections, and financial reporting.
