Job summary

Meister Concrete, LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Project Manager to oversee commercial and multi-family structural concrete projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will lead cast-in-place work including foundations, slabs, walls, rebar, embeds, and formwork while coordinating with general contractors, engineers, suppliers, and field crews.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial concrete construction.
Strong knowledge of cast-in-place concrete construction including foundations, slabs, walls, rebar, and formwork.
Experience coordinating with general contractors, engineers, and suppliers.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts and schedules.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost tracking, and change orders.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites throughout NJ, NY, and CT.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple commercial and residential concrete projects from award to completion.
Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and schedules to understand scope and risks.
Coordinate startup, mobilization, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Prepare and track budgets, billing, change orders, POs, and costs to completion.
Plan daily/weekly activities with superintendents and foremen for productivity.
Attend meetings and communicate with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and consultants.
Identify delays and scope changes; prepare notices and change orders as needed.
Coordinate concrete mix designs, testing, reinforcing steel, embeds, formwork and pumps.
Monitor schedules and develop recovery plans when needed.
Review invoices from subcontractors/suppliers and ensure costs stay within budget.
Submit monthly billing, SV updates, change logs, and project reports.
Maintain complete project documentation (RFIs, submittals, photos, daily reports, closeout docs).
Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents and standards.
Support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation.
