Senior Commercial Client Manager - Property & Casualty Insurance

POSITION: Senior Commercial Client Manager - Property & Casualty Insurance

SUMMARY:

The Senior Commercial Client Manager at Van Wyk Risk Solutions plays a key role in the day-to-day handling of commercial P&C accounts within a reputable insurance agency. The Sr. Client Manager is expected to handle the primary servicing of accounts and to work closely with the Commercial Client Executive on new and renewal business. The right candidate will be able to develop a strong understanding of client objectives and assess their business strategies and needs in relation to their objectives. This is a high-level position within the company.

EXPECTATIONS AND DUTIES:

  1. Interact with clients and carriers to provide coverage recommendations, claims handling, and premium negotiation on behalf of the client.
  2. Oversee the marketing of new and renewal business to carriers, issue binders, update certificates, process endorsements and work with the marketing team on proposals.
  3. Introduce new products to existing clients.
  4. Ensure marketing plans, goals, and policies are consistent with established company-wide goals.
  5. Ensure effective ongoing communication with clients to maintain high levels of customer retention.
  6. Create a great customer experience for all clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  2. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  3. Work well in a team environment.
  4. Must have P&C license and 5+ years of experience servicing commercial clients.
  5. Experience with large and complex accounts.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
