Qualifications

• Min of 5 years casualty claim experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of tort and contract law; auditing/reviewing casualty claim files.
• Independent adjuster licenses for AL, GA, MS, NC, SC & TN or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Review new losses and manage claims through coverage analysis, investigation, damages evaluation, reserving and resolution.
• Manage bodily injury, auto material damage and total loss claims, including appraisals and subrogation demands.
• Establish timely and accurate claim and expense reserves.
• Negotiate and convey settlements within authority limits.
• Maintain claim files and document activities following procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to insured, agents and internal/external customers.
