Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in commercial and custom construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and blueprints.
• Strong layout and jobsite setup skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete rough and finish carpentry on commercial projects.
• Install doors, windows, frames, cabinetry, millwork, and finish components.
• Fabricate and install walls, ceilings, stairs using wood and metal framing.
• Perform project layout with digital transits and laser levels.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to stay on schedule.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Mentor and support less experienced carpenters when opportunities arise.
