Job summary

EMCOR Group in Carpinteria, CA seeks a Boiler Technician for Mesa Energy Systems. You will follow preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, test and repair all boiler controls and system components to keep facilities running efficiently.

Must have 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling and 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, be available for emergency call outs, hold Rule 1415 certification, and have valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling completed.
• 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Available for emergency call outs.
• Team player capable of working with other trades and client staff.
• Rule 1415 certified.
• EMS experience (Staefa/Siemens) is a plus.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and related equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
