Job summary
Mesa Energy Systems in California seeks a Boiler Technician to maintain boiler operations, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair boiler controls and system components. The role requires hands-on experience with commercial boilers and strong teamwork.
You will complete daily checks, tests of safeties, annual tuning, monitor chemical feeds and emissions, and respond to emergency calls. Apprenticeship or technical schooling plus 5+ years' commercial HVAC experience and a valid
Qualifications
- 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling required.
- 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience expected.
- Available for emergency call outs.
- Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client’s staff.
- Rule 1415 certification required.
- EMS experience a plus (Staefa/Siemens).
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily operations of boilers.
- Complete daily checks and maintain operating records.
- Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and equipment.
- Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
- Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
- Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
- Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
