Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree desirable.
• Seven years of experience in complex commercial real estate lending and/or commercial & industrial loans management in a financial institution.
• Formal credit experience is required.
• Strong sales skills and expectation management.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Knowledge of current technology and ability to use it proficiently.
• Good organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and ability to work independently in a team.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Work as an active member of the sales/services lending department and help establish annual sales objectives.
• Solicit new business from present and prospective customers.
• Provide timely sales information for monthly and YTD reports.
• Monitor sales performance against objectives monthly using the company sales system.
• Maintain knowledge of commercial credit products and services and sell accordingly.
• Provide direct service to commercial customers for deposits, loans and other products; approve or reject loan applications within authority.
• Assist customers in obtaining specialized services from other departments.
• Attend sales and trade meetings as the company’s representative to develop business.
• Detect, report, and monitor problem credit; ensure loan portfolio quality.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
