Job summary

UMB Bank in Fresno, CA is seeking a Senior Client Manager to oversee a portfolio of mid-to large-size commercial banking relationships. You will grow revenue by expanding current client engagements and prospecting new opportunities while maintaining credit quality and customer service.

You will partner with officers to administer relationships, identify cross-sell opportunities, and ensure effective servicing of accounts. Strong underwriting and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 8+ years commercial banking or lending experience including credit underwriting.
• Strong financial acumen and underwriting knowledge.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to prospect and network at various levels within a company.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strategic sales meetings skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with other officers to effectively administer the management of assigned commercial banking relationships.
• Maintain portfolio by calling on existing customers to expand business and ensure portfolio’s credit quality.
• Provide recurring customer service to existing and prospective clients, including joint sales calls or direct correspondence.
• Serve as a conduit for all product lines and match client needs with appropriate products; proactively cross-sell bank products.
• Other duties as assigned.
