Job summary

The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is seeking a Portfolio Manager for the Commercial Banking (Middle Market) team in Miami, FL. You will oversee underwriting and portfolio management, supporting RMs and lending associates, driving the closing process, and maintaining risk controls while expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Commercial Banking with client relationship management and formal credit training.
• Experience in loan structuring and business development.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis.
• Completion of Commercial Banking Training Program desirable.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage commercial loan portfolios and risk within guidelines.
• Lead client renewals and onboarding with RM input and coordination.
• Maintain client relationships and pipeline in Salesforce; monitor maturities and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with risk ratings, SOX controls, and documentation accuracy.
