Job summary

The Plymouth Rock Company seeks a Product Manager for Commercial Auto, Underwriting Strategy & Analytics to shape and grow our Commercial Auto product while advancing underwriting initiatives across Personal Auto, Motorcycle, and Umbrella lines.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Product Management, Marketing, Claims, Legal and IT to drive data-driven decisions, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management with an eye toward profitability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, CPCU or similar designation a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management, underwriting strategy, or related analytical role.
• Experience with Small Commercial products (BOP, GL, CPP) is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of pricing and underwriting principles; familiar with rate/form filing and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Commercial Auto product initiatives across the lifecycle from analysis to implementation.
• Help develop multiyear underwriting strategy balancing risk, customer experience and growth.
• Identify improvements with underwriting operations and product management for profitable growth.
• Conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Collaborate on pricing strategies and coverage options aligned with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
