Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Commercial Auto & General Liability Adjuster to provide quality investigation and analysis of medium complexity claims. You will build relationships with agencies, policyholders and team members while handling coverage, liability and damages issues.

The role supports a hybrid onsite schedule, with travels between locations and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of experience handling general liability and/or bodily injury claims of medium complexity/severity.
• AIC or SCLA certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 10% and daily between locations.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with agents, policyholders and internal stakeholders on claims of medium complexity.
• Investigate losses, evaluate liability and damages, and review documents.
• Develop action plans to proactively conclude claims and negotiate settlements.
• Maintain proper reserves reflecting financial exposure for each claim.
• Engage external resources when needed to resolve claims cost-effectively.
• Coordinate with internal partners on contractual indemnifications and insured coverage issues.
• Work with counsel to manage litigated claims.
• Review and interpret commercial policies and communicate coverage issues clearly.
