Job summary

Acrisure is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Property Damage Claims Adjuster with 7+ years in commercial auto, trucking, or transportation claims handling and an active adjuster license. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims, establish reserves, and negotiate settlements within an on-site environment.

The ideal candidate has strong APD and property damage experience, TPA exposure, and multi-jurisdictional knowledge. Proficiency with claims systems and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial auto, trucking or transportation claims handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of APD and property damage claims in commercial transportation.
• Experience in a TPA environment and multi-jurisdictional claims is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage APD, property damage, and related liability claims involving commercial transportation exposures.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, damages, reserves, negotiation strategy, and settlement opportunities.
• Handle physical damage and property damage claims involving specialized motor coach and trucking programs.
• Review complex or escalated claim matters and develop appropriate resolution strategies.
• Maintain accurate claim diaries, reserves, and file activity across jurisdictions.
• Partner with internal teams, clients, insureds, claimants, vendors, and attorneys to resolve complex matters.
• Communicate with attorneys and law firms regarding represented property damage claims.
• Negotiate settlements and support efficient, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution.
