Job summary

SSA Marine, Inc. seeks a Senior Business Analyst, Commercial to own contracting, CRM, analytics strategy, and governance for the container portfolio. You will translate operational and market data into decision-ready insights supporting pricing, contracting, governance, and budgets.

Lead Power BI inventory, standardize reporting, and advance self-service analytics while partnering with Commercial, Finance, Ops, and IT to improve data quality and drive EBITDA growth. Travel <10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial, financial, or data analysis with recurring management reporting.
• Strong data structuring capability to organize and standardize complex data.
• Analytical, hypothesis-driven problem solving turned into actionable insights.
• Proven data visualization skills with Power BI and Excel to deliver executive visuals.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring monthly commercial performance reporting across volume, revenue, EBITDA, pricing, customer, and terminal themes.
• Translate outputs into executive-ready narratives with actions and recommendations.
• Design and maintain benchmarking across terminals, customers, carriers, and metrics.
• Develop the enterprise self-service analytics roadmap with standardized dashboards.
• Define data elements, governance, and a single source of truth for commercial data.
