Job summary

BD seeks a Principal Analytics Analyst to lead the commercial analytics semantic layer and BI user experience across regions. You will govern metric standards, guide global self‑service enablement, and drive scalable analytics architectures in partnership with IT, Data Engineering, and enterprise architecture teams.

You will define and enforce data governance, promote data literacy, and mentor senior analysts while delivering high‑impact executive dashboards and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data analysis.
• Deep expertise in enterprise semantic layer design and governance across platforms.
• Proven track record leading self-service analytics programs across regions/business units.
• Advanced SQL and cloud data platform experience (Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks).
• Thought leader in analytics, shaping platform strategy, metrics, or BI architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise semantic layer strategy and governance across geographies.
• Lead semantic layer architecture decisions across tooling platforms.
• Evaluate and adopt semantic layer/BI tools with IT and EA teams.
• Own global self-service analytics strategy and asset libraries.
• Design UX/UI standards for dashboards and executive reporting.
• Provide strategic leadership across analytics, mentoring juniors and leading forums.
