Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking a Senior Engineer, Combustion Engine Performance, to lead design, development, and optimization of advanced engine technologies. You will drive performance validation across test benches and customer sites in Houston and abroad, coordinating across functions and locations.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, hands-on engine experience, and the ability to travel up to 60% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in performance development and validation of internal combustion engines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Travel up to 60% to customer and project sites; occasional international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute performance development and validation activities at test benches and customer sites.
• Support engine commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Analyze and resolve technical challenges for project teams at customer locations.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders; contribute to IP creation.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams; act as liaison for development in the USA and Europe.
