Job summary

INNIO Group in the United States seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to lead engine controls development and validation for large engines and power systems. You will work with customers, global engineering teams and the Service organization across the USA and Europe to solve technical challenges and advance controls technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering required.
• Experience developing and validating control systems for engines or heavy machinery.
• Proficient with MATLAB, Simulink, GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel ~60% to sites, with potential international trips.

Responsibilities

• Lead engine controls development, validation, commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Analyze technical challenges and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Define and monitor project work packages and validation activities.
• Drive product and technology improvements and support IP creation.
• Provide training and act as liaison between USA and Europe teams.
• Improve engineering processes to reduce duplication and handoffs.
