Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Technical Advanced Support Specialist II to provide expert color matching and technical support for Axalta products. You will collaborate with teams to troubleshoot application issues, assist customers with product usage, and guide color selection across substrates such as plastic, metal, and aluminum.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of collision repair painting experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years hands-on collision repair painting experience in a production refinish environment.
Ability to diagnose paint application concerns and explain corrective actions practically.
Strong communication to convey technical and color information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for technical inquiries on Axalta products.
Assist customers with product usage, color selection, and application guidance.
Enter complaints and issues into Salesforce for quality and color tracking.
Provide color matching, LAB crossovers, and fan deck support to customers.
Support field technicians and coordinate in-person visits when needed.
Contribute to QA by identifying process improvements and sharing knowledge.
