Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3–5 years in automotive refinishes or related sales.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; strong communication skills.
  • Experience in business development, account management, or customer training.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new paint system opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through prospecting and networking.
  • Serve as advisor for product knowledge and troubleshooting.
  • Support installations, painter certification, and product implementation.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical training sessions.
  • Communicate value of products, color technologies, services, and training programs.

Job Summary: The Refinish Economy Segment Sales & Technical Specialist is responsible for driving growth within the collision repair industry by identifying, converting, supporting, and retaining Economy and Value Segment business through distribution partners and direct customer engagement. This hybrid role combines business development, account management, technical expertise, product training, and customer support to maximize revenue growth, customer satisfaction, product adoption, and long-term customer success.

Work Location

This fully remote role requires a local presence in Texas, preferably San Antonio or Dallas, to allow for onsite visits at customer sites and is not eligible for relocation nor sponsorship. Travel required: up to 75%.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and convert new paint system opportunities within collision centers for distribution partner.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship development.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary customer resource for product knowledge, application support, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Support customer installations, onboarding, painter certification, and product implementation activities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical training sessions, and best-practice workshops.
  • Communicate the value of products, color technologies, services, and training programs.
  • Partner closely with sales, distribution, and technical teams to drive conversions and retention.
  • Maintain accurate account activity and opportunities within Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Diagnose and resolve product-performance, application, and process-related challenges.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Economy Segment products and market trends.
  • Manage selling expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Demonstrate safety leadership and PPE compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3–5 years of Automotive Refinish, collision repair, or related experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English Strong understanding of collision repair operations, paint systems, and distribution channels.
  • Experience in business development, technical support, account management, or customer training.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and successful in autonomous work environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
