FNBO is seeking a Sr. Account Specialist to support delinquency resolutions and lead collections across Small Business products. The role emphasizes compliant, solution-focused conversations with customers and cross-functional collaboration in a DFS environment.

The position requires strong negotiation skills, problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and in a small team, with hybrid work balancing on-site and remote days. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in collections and/or customer service within a banking or financial services environment.
• Solid understanding of collection procedures and regulatory requirements (BSA/AML).
• Ability to manage special projects and meet deadlines while maintaining accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to delinquent customers and propose viable resolutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and solutions for complex delinquency situations.
• Document and monitor formalized payment plans per department standards.
• Handle inbound calls across all DFS products and markets with informed guidance.
• Support account management, risk management, compliance, and audit functions.
• Perform skip-tracing to assist collections and litigation efforts as needed.
• Adhere to DFS and Small Business policies and regulatory requirements.
