Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field.
• Twelve years of commercial banking or asset-based lending experience.
• Five years in leadership or management roles.
• Experience partnering with Credit Risk Management and risk functions.
• Experience leading operational, risk, or strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leads RBC’s collateral management, overseeing administration, monitoring, reporting and controls.
• Develops and leads managers and teams to drive performance and recruitment.
• Provides governance for collateral monitoring and borrowing base processes.
• Oversees portfolio operations reporting to support decisions.
• Monitors collateral trends and escalates issues as needed.
• Acts as primary escalation point for complex collateral and risk matters.
• Drives strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and client service.
• Partners with risk, compliance, audit and other stakeholders.
• Supports leadership dashboards and performance metrics.
