Job summary

Regions Bank in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Collateral Specialist to deliver direct client services for cash management and lending structures. You will analyze collateral documents and prepare management reporting for the portfolio.

You will work with relationship managers to ensure reporting meets loan document requirements and that collateral is in place to minimize risk, using advanced knowledge of bank policies. You may handle additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Three years of related experience in Asset Based Lending or Commercial Lending preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes collateral documents and prepares management reporting for portfolio
• Manages the document review/exceptions process
• Works with relationship managers to ensure that reporting meets requirements of loan documents and ensures that collateral is in place to minimize risk
• Uses complex mathematical formulas to analyze the level and quality of collateral and alerts relationship managers of pertinent trends affecting the value of the portfolio
• Prepares reports used by senior management for purpose of lending decisions and credit risk review
• Provides collateral and loan information to field audit team
• Inputs collateral information into the specialized Asset Based Lending Manager system to determine daily collateral position and borrowing availability
• May take on additional responsibilities as directed by manager
