Job summary

Byline Bank is seeking a Sr. Collateral & Pledging Analyst in Schaumburg to audit and manage closed loan packages and collateral files, ensuring security interests and FRB/FHLB pledging readiness. The role supports liquidity strategies and regulatory compliance across multiple platforms.

You will monitor collateral, prepare reports, and coordinate documentation and releases with lenders and vendors while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and risk controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of loan operations, including collateral management and post-closing audits.
• Direct experience with FRB and/or FHLB Chicago pledging guidelines and processes.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, collateral file requirements, and post-closing processes.
• Experience auditing loan files and managing exception tracking.
• Familiarity with investor delivery processes and agency guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Audit and manage all closed loan packages and collateral files.
• Verify documents and update exception tracking for missing items.
• Ensure collateral files support FRB/FHLB pledging requirements.
• Coordinate collateral delivery to custodians and facilities.
• Produce reporting and metrics on pledged collateral activity.
• Assist with internal audits, regulatory exams, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Secondary Marketing, Treasury, and Capital Markets teams.
