The position emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, including lean practices and 5S. The successful candidate will contribute to meeting production goals and uphold manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated welding and fabrication skills with MIG welding.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and fab sheets.
• Experience meeting FPY requirements per WPQ Class C.
• Proficient with welding equipment and plasma cutting.
• Able to train junior mechanics when needed.

Responsibilities

• Owns personal and team safety and uses proper PPE.
• Perform cut out operations with plasma cutting on galvanized and stainless steel panels.
• Weld water-tight corner and connection welds on galvanized and stainless steel.
• Meet FPY requirements per WPQ Class C Welder.
• Maintain accuracy, pace, and adherence to safety rules.
