Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) for CNS to join its ecosystem-based engagement model.

The MSL will provide clinical, scientific and health economic information to support CNS product utilization and patient outcomes, engaging KIs, LPLs, healthcare providers, and patient groups within the local ecosystem. The role encompasses developing regional medical strategies, coordinating field activities, and building internal and external partnerships

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or equivalent CNS/psychiatry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Strong business acumen and industry knowledge; ability to lead and influence.
• Ability to work in an environment undergoing transformation.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information related to CNS diseases and appropriate product utilization.
• Engage with Key Influencers (KIs), Local Practice Leaders (LPLs), healthcare providers and patient groups within the ecosystem.
• Contribute to local medical strategies and execution of field activities.
• Build external relationships with key scientific and medical customers and organizations.
• Submit medical insights to drive evidence generation and prioritization of healthcare solutions.
• Assist with clinical trials program, including registrational, post-marketing and ISTs; provide clinical expertise for site management.
• Support Safety & Pharmacovigilance, Medical Training, and Field Medical Center of Excellence.
