Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the CNS area.

The role focuses on delivering clinical, scientific, and health economic information to Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, healthcare providers, and patient groups within the ecosystem to improve patient outcomes. The MSL will collaborate with regional leadership to tailor medical strategies, cover multiple CNS products, and engage in broad clinical discussions, driving insights

Qualifications

• MD/DO/PhD or Master’s in life sciences with CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of health systems, patient care delivery, and engagement with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans addressing customer challenges and opportunities.
• Build and cultivate relationships with key scientific and medical stakeholders across the territory to understand trends and product knowledge.
• Develop and maintain understanding of the ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy and priorities.
• Provide evidence-based information on clinical, economic, and humanistic value of products to stakeholders.
• Mentor peers and participate in functional/therapeutic development and training.
• Support Otsuka’s clinical trials program and health economic outcomes research where applicable.
