Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an RN with advanced practice credentials to advance nursing practice across patient, staff and system levels. You will provide expert clinical leadership, education, and consultation, while serving as a change agent within a Magnet-designated facility.

The role emphasizes collaboration, quality improvement, and research to elevate care and outcomes. Requires Master’s in nursing, RN license in Michigan, ANCC-certified APRN, and CNS certification

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• PhD or DNP in nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in Michigan; APRN with ANCC certification required.
• CNS certification in listed specialties is acceptable.
• Two years of concentrated clinical experience in specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Develops criteria for and evaluates quality and effectiveness of practice across patient, nursing, and organizational spheres.
• Interact with patients and families to promote health and quality of life.
• Consult with nurses and health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Mentor nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
