Job summary
Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a highly experienced nursing leader to advance clinical nursing practice across patient, staff, and organizational systems. The role requires an APRN with ANCC certification, a Master’s in Nursing, and Michigan RN licensure, with PhD/DNP preferred.
Two years of specialized clinical experience and CNS certification are expected. As a Magnet-designated facility with shared governance, the incumbent will drive education, consultation, and system-wide
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing with clinical focus is required.
- RN license in Michigan with APRN certification from ANCC is required.
- PhD or DNP in nursing is preferred.
- Two years of concentrated clinical experience in the area of specialty.
- CNS certification in Adult Health, Pediatric, Gerontological, or related areas is required.
Responsibilities
- Develops criteria for and evaluates quality and effectiveness of nursing practice across patient, nurse, and organizational spheres.
- Interacts with patients and families to promote health and quality of life.
- Advises nurses and health care team through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Mentors nursing staff and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
