Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead CNS practice and drive system-wide improvements across OU Health. You will collaborate with OAP leadership, physician leaders, and nursing leaders to elevate CNS care in all OU Health practice areas.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, research support, and serving as a change agent through coaching, committees, and projects aligned with OU Health’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• 3+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in the CNS role.
• 3 years of progressive leadership experience required.
• Active APRN-CNS license in State of Oklahoma.
• Must obtain prescriptive authority within 30 days of onboarding.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OAP leadership, physician leaders, and nursing leaders to advance CNS care across OU Health.
• Oversee FPPE/OPPE requirements and any proctoring as needed.
• Facilitate hiring and orientation of new CNS in collaboration with unit leadership.
• Participate in CME discussions and support access to continuing education opportunities.
• Maintain accountability for OU Health values and clinical practice standards.
