Job summary

Two Six Technologies in Arlington, VA is seeking a Lead CNO Developer to guide a small, highly skilled team of developers and researchers. You will provide hands‑on technical direction, prioritize tasks, and ensure high standards while engaging directly with mission partners and stakeholders.

You will design and develop tools for embedded and telecom systems and translate research discoveries into scalable cyber capabilities for real‑world environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years designing, developing, and prototyping low‑level apps or cyber capabilities.
• Experience leading small technical teams on complex programs.
• Strong client-facing experience with government stakeholders.
• Experience with Python, C, C++ and related systems programming languages.
• Experience with operating system internals and memory layout concepts.
• Strong knowledge of network sockets and IP/TCP protocols.
• Experience reverse engineering x86/ARM binaries and embedded systems.
• Experience tracing code with WinDbg or GDB debuggers.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and tasking of a small CNO development team.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for project leadership and government stakeholders.
• Design, architect, and develop tools for embedded and telecommunications systems.
• Oversee PoCs and transition them into robust, maintainable code with DevOps.
• Guide reverse engineering and vulnerability research efforts.
• Analyze firmware and OS internals to uncover exploitable flaws.
• Direct tooling to analyze and manipulate binaries; extend capabilities.
• Lead capability development leveraging novel telecom access mechanisms.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid‑level developers.
• Present findings and progress to mission partners and stakeholders.
