Command Post Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Network Defense Analyst to monitor, analyze, mitigate, and defend enterprise networks. The role includes intrusion analysis, incident response, vulnerability assessment, and development of policies for computing resources.

You will produce technical reports and support disaster recovery planning. Ideal candidates have active TS/SCI eligibility, 5+ years of IT security (or 7+ years IT experience), IAT II certification, and experience

Qualifikationen

• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance or SCI eligible.
• 5+ years of IT security experience; or 7+ years of IT experience.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security).
• 3 years minimum of traffic and log analysis experience.
• Extensive knowledge of network firewalls, logs, and security.
• Experience with incident response, analysis, and report dissemination.
• Experience with wiretapping tools: WireShark and Snort.
• Experience with DoD/AF incident reporting processes.

Aufgaben

• Support real-time monitoring of IPS/IDS/NAC and related defenses.
• Monitor network traffic for event correlations from multiple locations.
• Evaluate traffic with standard tools for incident response analysis.
• Create and maintain reports for ACAS, HBSS, STIG Viewer, and JSA.
• Maintain IDS/IPS/NAC devices and perform real-time monitoring analysis.
• Conduct network event correlation and advanced traffic analysis.
• Perform incident response and analysis.
• Perform vulnerability analysis.
• Test, install, configure, and maintain IDS/IPS sensors.
• Provide IDS/IPS database and VPN technical support.
• Conduct network defense training.
• Support Stan/Eval activities and operational process tracking.
• Provide systems planning support; assist with disaster recovery planning.
• Prepare network defense technical reports and communications.
